Can your customers find what they need — and buy — easily?
I recently met with a client who had a lot going on — multiple businesses, amazing ideas, and helpful offers — and her website covered all of it, but her audience was getting lost in all the noise. It reminded me of something so important:
Clarity = Confidence = Conversions.
When you’re sharing a specific offer (like a workshop or course) on Instagram, your audience should be able to click one link, land exactly where they need to go, and make a purchase — without confusion.
Instagram + Linktree = Easy Access for Your Clients
When working with this client, we particularly focused on her use of Instagram to promote her products and services. If you’re using Instagram for your business (and I strongly recommend it), you’ve only got one clickable link in your bio. That’s where a tool like Linktree comes in.
What is Linktree?
It’s a free (or paid) tool that lets you create a simple page filled with buttons and links — so your audience can find exactly what they need, whether it’s:
- A workshop to book
- A downloadable freebie
- A contact form
- A course
It is particularly fantastic if you don’t have a website and want a quick and straightforward way to connect with your audience.
Why This Matters
Your Instagram followers are often your warmest audience — they’re already engaged, curious, and scrolling. When you mention an offer in your post or Story, you need to:
- Talk clearly about what’s available
- Link directly to it from your bio page
- Make sure that the page is easy to navigate
If they have to hunt around your website for more than 30 seconds, you may lose them.
Final Thought
Your audience wants to buy from you — don’t make them guess how. Set your Instagram up for success with a bio link page, clear call-to-actions, and a simple path to purchase.
Of course, this tip is also transferrable to all your other social media channels. Ensure that it is easy for your audience to click off social media and make a purchase from you.
